The Cyngor Cyfathrebu Cenedlaethol – National Communications Council is responsible for creating a fit-for-purpose regulatory structure for Cymru.
The Council will develop policy and ideas within broadcasting in Cymru.
The Council will also draw up the steps that need to be taken in the process of devolving regulatory responsibilities in broadcasting and communications to Cymru.
The Council Board has a capacity of twelve members.
This year (2019) ten members were elected to the Council.
The period for nominating representatives to serve on this Council expired on Friday 19 July 2019 at 5pm. The Board was announced on Thursday the 8th of August, at Eisteddfod Conwy, in Llanrwst.
